| My name is Robbie Parks. I am married to a wonderful wife and mother, Ann. She is my rock and has always encouraged me to keep my hope alive of one day singing in a group. My dream has come true and I thank God everyday for this. I became a Christian at the age of 14 and I was baptized at First Baptist Church in Grenada, MS. I am now a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada. I guess you could say I am a music freak. I have always loved music of any kind. My Ya-Ya often tells the story of me being 5 years old and standing on the back seat (before seat belts were required) and singing at the top of my lungs. She said it was "Delta Dawn" but surely she is kidding.(LOL) I now enjoy the Gaither Vocal Band and all types of Christian music. I talked earlier about my dream of singing in a group and it is not the point of singing in a group. It goes back to my desire to sing Gods' word with a group of guys that are truly doing what God wants. They encourage me daily to do Gods' will and I believe that is what singing is all about.
